Timbaland loveste din nou! M. Pokora, noua sa descoperire, face furori cu cel mai recent album al sau "MP3"!

Pe numele sau adevarat, Matthieu Tota, M. Pokora s-a nascut pe 26 septembrie 1985 la Strasbourg. Cantaret si compozitor francez de origine poloneza, in plina afirmare, el a reusit sa atraga atentia unuia dintre cei mai in voga producatori, Timbaland.
M. Pokora a fost initial membru al trupei Linkup, creata la sfarsitul celui de-al treilea sezon al popularului
reality show francez Popstars, in toamna anului 2003. El si-a lansat primul sau album solo, sub numele de scena Matt Pokora, la numai cateva luni dupa ce trupa s-a desfiintat si a lansat rapid cateva megahit-uri Elle Me Contrôle (She Controls Me), Showbiz (The Battle) sau
Pas Sans Toi (Not Without You), abordand cu succes un gen muzical foarte popular printre adolescenti: hip-hop cu influente R&B.
M. Pokora (sau, mai simplu, Pokora) lanseaza acum cel de-al treilea album solo, la care a lucrat in Statele Unite ale Americii cu binecunoscutul producator Timbaland.Prima mostra este “Dangerous”, un featuring cu insusi Timbaland. Fiind de asemenea si primul extras pe single de pe albumul “MP3”, specialistii spun ca va fi cu siguranta unul dintre megahiturile acestei veri. “MP3” este cel de-al treilea album de studio al artistului si contine 14 piese originale, in limba engleza si franceza.

Moby - noul album "Last Night"

Moby lanseaza cel de-al saselea album de studio, “Last Night”, la Mute Records. Cele 15 piese de pe album au fost inregistrate in studioul sau personal din Manhattan New York si mixate de Dan Grech – Maguerat care a lucrat de asemenea cu Radiohead si cu Scissor Sisters.

Noul album contine colaborari inedite cu artisti ca Sylvia de la Kudu, MC Aynzli si MC Smokey si S.O. Simple din trupa nigeriana de hip-hop 419 Squad.

Moby despre noul sau album, “Last Night”:

“Este mult mai orientat spre stilul dance si suna mai electro decat ultimele mele albume, probabil ca rezultat al experientei recent acumulate ca DJ. Si am cativa artisti interesanti invitati pe album. Dintre acestia, preferatul meu este rapper-ul din piesa “I Love To Move In here”. Numele sau e Grandmaster Caz, si este unul dintre compozitorii de la “Rappers Delight”. Canta rap din 1975, si sunt foarte fericit ca am reusit sa am un featuring cu el pe acest album.”

Daft Punk - Alive 2007

Un show live nemaipomenit marca “Daft Punk”, acum pe CD, disponibil si in Romania!

Albumul “ALIVE 2007” este versiunea live a materialului “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”, piese interpretate in turneul de promovare a albumului. Dupa fenomenala reactie la show-urile pe care le-a sustinut trupa Daft Punk in Statele Unite ale Americii, Japonia si Australia anul trecut, au transpus momentele speciale experimentate in aceste concerte pe CD. “Alive 2007”este acum si la dispozitia fanilor din Romania.

Mattafix rupe topurile cu un nou album - "Rhythm and Hymns"

După o pauză prelungita, in care baietii au fost in turneu in peste 30 de țări, Marlon și Preetesh au lansat un nou album, “Rhythm & Hymns”. Acesta este un album primit foarte bine de critici, care au preconizat ca va egala (ba chiar depasi!) succesul inregistrat in 2005 cu materialul “Signs Of A Struggle”.Marlon Roudette s-a nascut in Londra/Marea Britanie, dar a crescut pe insula St. Vincent din Caraibe. Si colegul sau de trupa, Preetesh Hirji, s-a nascut in Londra.Recunoasterea internationala a venit odata cu lansarea celui de-al doilea extras pe single de pe albumul de debut, piesa “Big City Life”. The Bio of E 40

Throughout the '90s and into the next decade, E-40 led a generation of Cali Bay Area rappers and attracted a large cult following of listeners that spread from the West Coast to the South. His uncanny rhyme delivery set him apart from the mainstream, as he coined his own lexicon of street-speak and experimented with overdubbed vocals. Moreover, his longevity and sincerity earned him many alliances, first among his Bay Area colleagues, then with Jive Records and numerous Dirty South camps, among them No Limit and Cash Money Records. Forty never did completely crossover to mainstream success, remaining mainly a regional sensation, yet influenced many over the years with his unique style and stayed true to his principles throughout.

Born Earl Stevens and later host to numerous nicknames -- "Charlie Hustle," "Forty Fonzarelli," "40-Watter," and more -- 40 grew up in the Cali Bay Area and aspired to follow in the footsteps of Too Short. Like that Oakland legend, 40 built a street presence with mixtapes long before he released his first album. After years of mixtape hustling, he decided to start his own label, Sick Wid' It, and began extending his reach beyond the streets of Vallejo, the Bay Area city he called home. 40 entered the national rap game forcibly in 1994 with an EP (The Mail Man), a single ("Captain Save a Hoe"), and an album (Federal); and he also released an album by his group, the Click (Down and Dirty).

These recordings made their way to the office of Jive Records, who offered to distribute the Sick Wid' It catalog. As part of the deal, in 1995 Jive re-released the aforementioned releases as well as new albums by 40 (In a Major Way) and the Click (Game Related), and helped bring substantial interest toward the Sick Wid' It camp. For 40's next album, Tha Hall of Game (1996), he again worked with longtime producer Mike Mosley but also collaborated with Bay Area heavyweight Ant Banks, who produced "Rappers' Ball," a successful single that featured Too Short and K-Ci.

After Tha Hall of Game put 40 on the brink of a mainstream breakthrough, the rapper took a year off and returned with a massive double album, The Element of Surprise (1998), and then another album shortly afterward, Charlie Hustle (1999). These two albums, unfortunately, did little to expand 40's fan base, nor did subsequent albums such as Loyalty and Betrayal (2000) and Grit & Grind (2002); though they did spawn a few popular singles ("Nah Nah," "Rep Yo City"). By this point, ten years or so after 40 had established Sick Wid' It, the rapper seemed perennially poised for breakthrough success yet, at the same time, was perfectly content with his strong following amid the West Coast and Dirty South scenes. Breakin News (2003) was his last album for Jive.

He reappeared in 2006 with the Top Ten hit My Ghetto Report Card, an album on the Warner Bros. label and with Lil Jon as executive producer. This new arrangement attracted a new wave of interest in 40, and as the so-called hyphy scene in the Bay Area likewise continued to garner interest, his legacy as a West Coast pioneer seemed well set.
